Living by the ocean is more than inspiring. It resets the soul when needed most. Who doesn’t love finding shells as they walk along the beach. They aren’t as prevalent here in southern CA as I have witnessed them to be on the East coast beaches. So when I came across a complete and sturdy shell…. I decided to have it cast to use in a design. The well-known quote: “the world is your oyster” has been flipped to “my” so that it can hold within it a personal mantra.
That stamped sterling dome hides behind a fresh water pearl. It ages and wears beautifully.
