My Garden Forever

Hand-Stamped in Sterling Silver:

This is a necklace that I made that is very dear to my heart and conjures up great memories.
My 3 nephews came each summer from Ohio out to California to stay with us for the month of July for 11 straight years.
At the time… the middle boy was around 10 and obsessed with “rad” shoes… the name brand kinds like NIKE etc. He was always crying when leaving and he would go back home and he would always call or text every day for at least a week or two. Texting throughout the day letting me know how much he missed me and all of us. Then one day a card arrives in the mail and on it is this beautiful quote by a little known but amazing poet named Alfred Lord Tennyson. I decided to introduce it in collection and it was an instant success. It was even picked up by a catalog company who carried it for many many years. With its success, I decided to surprise my dear nephew with the gift of having him design his own Nikes (which was a thing at the time). He was over the moon and he
had a blast designing them online. They even had his first and last name across the back of each shoe!!
Anyways, it’s a special piece for that special person that has you off and daydreaming about them throughout each day and beyond.
